What to do when they exercised on guitar?

This article follows the one on the practice time to improve. We saw in the previous article that exercised 30 minutes a day was a good way to progress in practice the guitar, we'll see in this article how we can cut the 30 minutes to try to draw up.
First let me remind you that this is an example of exercises for a 30 minute session, you are free to change the program, play longer, short, arrange your meeting as you please, most obviously being make you happy!
I chose to give you a typical session of a player who begins for advanced players, you probably know what works for you, if you want an article of this type for advanced players please let me know and I will will prepare it!
And to finish before I start, remember that when I say "5 minutes" we do not talk to a timer, of course, everything is flexible.
5 minutes to learn chords:
You start and you have trouble identifying agreements, spend your first 5 minutes to learn new ones. Not 10, not 30, but 3 or 5. Choose simple chords in the beginning, like an E or a D, trying, in a few sessions to learn all matches for "basic" (from C to B) in their original position. When you learn these chords (it may take a few sessions), go to the minor variant of these agreements, once finished, why not learn in 7th? Or 9th? Suspended? Or simply return to the basic chords but do learn in different places on the neck, the possibilities are endless for you to see what positions or variations are most interesting for you, why not look at what agreements are used in the songs you want to learn.
Do not forget to try to chain these agreements to accustom your fingers change position, and thus strengthen your muscle memory that is mentioned in the article on practice time. You will see that after a few days you will naturally some agreements.
5 minutes to practice your rhythm / finger style right hand:
You just learn chords; put them into practice for exercising your right hand rhythm. If you use a pick, are testing different rhythm, alternating shots down and pick up, play with it, with pauses here and there, in short, expand your sense of rhythm.
Finger style side, you can try to play arpeggios begin by trying to use all your fingers. Once you've practiced enough exercises, arpeggios spice base by including variations, there are many, so enjoy!
10 minutes to learn a song:
You just spend 5 minutes learning new chords (and I've said that choosing the agreements that are in the songs you want to learn is a plus), 5 minutes you exercise rhythmically on these agreements, it is time put that into practice!
Take those 10 minutes to learn a song you like, but be careful, do not choose a song too complicated! If you can play the metronome (still trying to play with a metronome) or better yet, play over the CD if possible, it depends of course songs.
The 10 minutes you spend so progress in the direction you like, you chose the song because it speaks to you and you'll have fun playing it even more once you master it, it for this reason that you started in learning the guitar right?
5 minutes to perform on ranges:
I know it's not exciting and rather boring (at least for me), but learning and practicing on the ranges will help you immensely in advance. Do not choose top ranges complicated, or that spans an entire round in crazy positions, start with basic scales, a range of C major for example, or chromatic scales.
The purpose of these 5 minutes is to enhance the synchronization between your two hands. It is very important to work with the metronome and try to play these lines as cleanly as possible. No need to increase the tempo until you have not considered proper band, it can take several sessions, do not be discouraged! It is sometimes necessary to decrease the tempo if you see one you chose you break too many problems during those 5 minutes do not forget that you are alone, nobody judges you, nobody asks you to play something of melody. These exercises are paramount, and although they are rather boring, you will see that force you to go find ways to spice up these exercises, make them more interesting over the months.
5 minutes to work your ear:
This is something quite abstract, "working his ear," but it'll help a lot in your learning. An example:
Play a chord, then a Minor, then an A with a 7th. You've played 3, but the agreements they did not sound the same way, his ear and work well, get to know is what agreement you have just heard without looking at a score. If you have a friend who plays guitar, too, can hold little "quiz" or without an agreement it will show you and you try to figure out what this agreement is saying, simply, either by searching on your guitar by testing the chords you know.
If you are alone, you can try to save playing agreements, wait a few days / weeks, and return this registration are trying to locate each chord you played. Or try to find the chords from a CD that you like (if possible songs and easy or no covering 45 instruments guitar).
A small conclusion:
You'll understand, I have proposed a typical session of 30 minutes, feel free to adapt its length and its structure according to your needs and desires, but remember that the last 5 or 10 minutes Your session should be devoted to something that gives you pleasure, if like me you do not like scales, do not finish your session by 10 minutes of scales, why? Just because you keep the last 5 minutes in your head when you come home from school or work the next day and you'll put your guitar in a corner of the room, you better than you remember having fallen enjoy playing the night before, rather than thinking "Rhea still runs!".
It may seem silly but that's how you'll want to take your guitar in your hands when you come home, because in the last memory you have with her, you like!
